May 3rd Results

The results for last Saturdays Men's Club event have been posted to the website.  As far as I know NO ONE has claimed the 50/50 pot!!    Should be enough there for the executive to have a nice leisurely lunch .....  If you have the winning ticket please drop us an email so we can put your name on the envelope.  Winners can pick up their envelopes at the May 17th event so please registered at least 30 minutes prior to your tee time so you have enough time to open your envelopes and reinvest your winnings.

Congratulations to ALL participants for showing up (NOT ONE PERSON CANCELLED!) and playing and finishing ALL 18 HOLES!!, you are to be commended.  Playing conditions were a bit challenging and the weather certainly didn't make it any easier.  In additional to the 100% attendance the playing time wasn't all that bad either.  There were a few gaps on the course (were you one of them?) but overall you minded the gap.  Lets see if we can continue to meet this challenge.

May 17th Event

The cut off for registration for the next Men's Club event is only a few days away so if you haven't signed up, get off your hands and get those fingers on that keyboard and get typing!!.  We have 52 players registered already with room for a couple of more 4somes. I hear the Spring will have finally arrived by then.

Minding the gap is going to be a true challenge for this event as it is individual stoke play (with a few matches thrown in for good measure).  Remember, if you can't read the writing on the backs of the group in front of you .... then the GAP IS TOO BIG!!  OK, enough I promise!

Match Play (or lack of it)

Speaking of Match Play.  It is 10 days till the Team Match Deadline for the 'Play In' leg of the match play and I haven't seen one match played, tee time booked or any sign of activity.  I'm not riding herd on the match plays but I can't sit on my hands and say nothing!!  This also holds true for the Singles Match Play ladder.  If you have booked a tee time for your match please let me know so I can post it for the benefit of those players who are waiting.  Remember "No Extensions"
