All the pros to a man raved about the condition and those that were here in previous years could not believe the improvement this year versus the last two years. Rules of GolfAnother quick note from "Shivas McQuivers"
Remember that the Rules of Golf are designed to help, not just penalize the player...taking advantage of your options under Rule 28 - "Ball Unplayable" can make the difference between a single digit score on a hole and a number that may require a calculator or in some of our cases, an abacus...Remember, you may declare your ball unplayable at any place on the golf course (excluding water hazards). We don't have to waste umpteen strokes trying to hack our ball from behind a tree stump or similar situation. Under penalty of only one stroke you may replay the shot that put the ball in the situation, drop your ball within two club lengths (no closer to the hole), or drop behind that same spot going backwards as far as you like as long as you keep the "trouble" spot between your new drop point and the hole. Choose the right time for the "Hero" shots. Also
