September 16th Event

My apologies for not sending out a newsletter last week informing you that the results have been posted. Yes, the results were posted on the web site last week.  Congratulation to Bill Rife (first time winner) for winning the 50/50 draw.  Also it looks like there was only 1 deuce which means that Vic Freiheit takes it all!!  Best $2 investment he ever made.  check the website for all the details.  Looks like there was a lot of ugliness' going on last Saturday!

September 30th Event - Turkey Shoot

The next event is coming up this Saturday.  The format is a 4 man scramble. Please note that this event is a 8:00 AM SHOT GUN start.  Prizes will be awarded in the lounge after the event.  Please show up by 7:30 Saturday morning so that we can make any last minute adjustment that may be necessary. We have asked the club if they would consider setting up a burger buffet, we will let you know on Saturday morning. 

On line signup is no longer available so if you haven't signed up and would like to play please send an email to: clubcaptain@hazelmeremensclub.org by Tuesday evening.  Also, if you are signed up and can't play we would appreciate if you could let us know ASAP as this is a team event with a Pari-mutuel.

Match Play Ladders

So far only 1 match play ladder has been completed.  That leaves 3 match play ladders that have not  been completed.  Please check the website and if a match has been completed and not updated on the website can someone from that match please drop me an email with the match details so I can update it.  Also, if you have a match still to be played can you please email me with the date the match will be played.   ALL matches have to be completed within the next 2 weeks (if you want to get your $winnings$).

Ryder Cup

Congratulations to the "other side" for winning the 1st Hazelmere Men's Club Ryder Cup event.  The photographs have been posted to the Men's Club website.

A special thank you to Jim Werlinger, Bill Clendening, Gene Wong and the Troy Peverley for their generous donations of prizes!

The Men's Club will be getting a plague to mount in the Pro Shop building (were not too sure just where as of yet) to honour all participants of this and future Ryder Cup events.  We hope to have this done by the end of the Men's Club season.
