May 13th Event

Despite the fact that I lost my team match play (anyone interested in a slightly used partner .... cheap!) it  was a great Men's Club event on Saturday.  We had 43 members out with only a couple of no shows.

The results have been posted to the website.  The pot for the 50/50 draw is around $90 bucks again.  Congratulations to Dave Adam who won over $90 for April 29th 50/50 draw!  There is still an unclaimed pot from the April 15th event.  Better check those wallets and golf bags!

Match Play Ladder

All 4 of the match play ladders have now been posted to the website.  The links can be found on the 2006 Homepage that can be found in the left hand panel of the Men's Club Home Page.  All of the links for the 2006 web pages can be found on the 2006 Home Page so if you can't find what you are looking for go there!! 

We have a lot of 1st round matches still to complete.  Please take a look at the match play ladders so you can see who you are playing are who you may be playing.  I sent out a contact sheet last week to all members which should make it easier for you to contact your opponents to arrange a match.  When you book a tee time for your match could you please drop me an email so I can post the date so that players that are waiting for the results of your match know when they can expect to arrange their match with the winner.  Also, when you have completed your match please drop me an email so I can update the match play ladder.  Please send me your score i.e.: 3/2, 1 up etc.

May 27th Event

The cut off for the next Men's Club event, May 27th is just around the corner so if you haven't signed up get your mouse clicking!!  If you don't have a partner the Club Captain will pair you up for that event so don't sweat it!  The next event is a 2 man best ball.  There will be pari-mutuel wagering at this event so please if you can't make give us as much advance notice as possible.  The teams will be posted by next Monday so you can place well educated bets on Saturday morning.  Its time to put your money where your mouth is ....

I have update the website with all of the match play ladders.  Make note that there are B Event ladders posted.  If you come across any links that DO NOT WORK please drop me an email so I can fix them.  I have also printed material that has been posted to the Men's Club Bulletin board in the Men's Locker Room.  Next time you are in take a look.
