Ryder Cup

The on line registration for the upcoming Ryder Cup event has just opened.   Word is that Troy and Jamie have accepted our invitation to be playing Captains, upping the stakes just a bit.  Fantastic!  The executive will update you as more details become finalized over the coming weeks so stay tuned.

August 5th Event - You Da Man

UNCONCEIVABLE !!I How can so many teams pick 'Da Man' correctly almost every hole ?? I don't know what game everyone else was playing but a 119, totally UNCONCEIVABLE!!  To quote our illustrious leader, Mr Weatherhead, "what were we playing?"  Never the less congratulations to Ken Smith, BJ Miller, Moe Prystie and Bill Clendening for coming in first.  It also just so happens that they were the first team off the box on Saturday morning.  Maybe we forgot to tell them the rules?  Was it also coincidence that my team, which tee'd off last just happen to come in dead last?  Is there some sort of correlation ....  Can my team tee off first at the next event?? 

From the few comments I heard after the event it would appear as thought a good time was had by all.  If you have any comments or suggestions about this event or any Men's Club event please drop us a email.  We are all ears!

August 19th Men' Club Event - 3rd Round Summer Shoot Out

The next Men's Club event is the 3rd round of the Summer Shoot Out.  The sign up cut off for registering is coming up very soon so if you are not in please sign up via the on line registration on the website.  The summary of the first 2 summer shoot outs will be posted in the coming day on the website you can see where stand in the over all results.  Remember you have to maintain the same partner for ALL 3 events to be able to win the over all Summer Shoot Out.  If you do not have a partner, the Club Captain will match you up with a partner.  You can also approach anyone who has signed up without a partner to see if they want to partner up with you.  If you do this please email the Club Captain to let him know ASAP.

Match Play Ladders

We have only one match that is out of position, way out of position and hope to have this resolved within the next few days.  Thank you, to the players who have been diligent in keeping their matches played on time and reporting the results to the webmaster so they can be updated on the website.  Your efforts have not gone un noticed.

PGA Tournament Lottery

The 2006 PGA Tournament starts on August 17th and the deadline for entries will be midnight, Wednesday March 17th.  I will be away most of next week so the entry form will be available on the website by this coming Wednesday, 9th of August. 

This is the last major of the year and the last lottery of the year.  A reminder email will be sent out next Monday in the Men's Club newsletter.  Please invite any friends you may think would enjoy getting in on the action.
